We got engaged on August 15, 2010 with the Vietnamese tradition. It’s a customs in Vietnam to have an engagement ceremony. Even though I was raised in the United States, but I am still trying to keep and follow the tradition. The ceremony consist giving gifts to the bride family, introducing both sides of the families, officially giving the bride to be the ring, praying/thank you the Lord and our ancestor, and of course eating/drinking.
